The agreement between us
What you can expect when you book a class, buy a video or stay in the apartment — and what is expected of you.

Who you are dealing with
This website is operated by Giselle Anne. Contact for anything in these terms: giseanne08@gmail.com, +1-720-278-4213.
Using this website, booking a class, or buying anything through it means you accept these terms.

What is offered

The online technique class — a live class taught over Zoom

Private sessions — one to one, online or in person

Seminars, workshops and festival appearances — some organized by Giselle, most hosted by others

Teacher training — the Tango Progressive Program, Level A and up.

Physical Items - through the shop
Prices are shown in US dollars. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion and fees, which are outside Giselle's control.

Booking and payment

A booking is confirmed when payment has been received and you have had a confirmation. Where payment is arranged directly with Giselle rather than through the website, your place is confirmed on the same basis.

Card payments are handled by Wix's payment providers. Giselle does not see or store your card details.

The live online class
Your link is yours
The joining link is personal to you and must not be shared or passed on. Places are limited and shared links take someone else's place.
Classes are recorded
Classes are recorded so that people who booked can watch them afterwards. You are not visible and audible in that recording, only Giselle is.
You may not record the class yourself, in any form.
If a class cannot go ahead
Occasionally a class has to be cancelled — illness, travel, or a failure of the technology. If Giselle cancels, you will be offered a place in another class or a refund.
If you cancel a class
Cancel it on the site up to one hour before it starts. If you booked with a class pack, the class goes back into your pack. If you paid for the single class, Giselle will send you a credit for the same amount to use on another session.
You have the option to ask for a recorded class instead of attending.

Payments, cancellations and refunds
The following applies to classes and sessions organized by Giselle Anne. If a class is organized by other people or organizations, their terms and conditions apply.
If you cancel a one-to-one class or private session

Up to 48 hours before the class - option to reschedule to a later date or a refund

After 48 hours before the class - there is no refund
If you cancel a group class or session

Up to 1 month before the class - option to reschedule to a later date or a refund

After 1 month before the class - there is no refund
If you do not turn up to a scheduled class
There is no refund. For the Online Technique Class, please check the terms and conditions there.
Packages
Packages expire after a set period without a refund. Please check the specific package for details.
Digital products
Videos and recorded classes are delivered digitally and are generally not refundable once you have accessed them. This does not affect any statutory rights you have in your own country, and it does not apply if a file is faulty or does not work — in that case, write and it will be fixed or refunded.

Videos and recorded material
When you buy a video you are buying access for your own personal study. You may watch it as often as you like, on your own devices during the time period granted.
You may not copy it, share it, upload it, show it publicly, or use it to teach others commercially. The material is the work of Giselle Anne and Gustavo Naveira, and it is theirs.

Events organized by other people
Many of the seminars and festivals listed on this website are organized, run and sold by other people. Booking, payment, cancellation and any problems are between you and that organiser, under their terms — not these. The listing here is for information.

The apartment in Buenos Aires
A stay is arranged directly with Giselle and confirmed by email. The details of any particular stay — dates, price, deposit and what is included — are as agreed between you at the time.

Dancing is physical activity
Tango is exercise. You take part at your own risk and you are responsible for your own body: work within what you can do, stop if something hurts, and take advice from a doctor if you have any injury, condition or pregnancy that might be affected.
In an online class Giselle cannot see your floor, your shoes or your surroundings. Make sure your space is clear and safe before you begin.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where the law does not allow that to be limited.

How people are expected to behave
Classes are shared spaces, online and in person. Everyone is entitled to be treated with courtesy regardless of role, level, age, body or background. Giselle may remove anyone from a class, and decline future bookings, where behaviour makes that impossible.

The website itself
The text, photographs, videos and design on this website belong to Giselle Anne or are used with permission. Please do not reproduce them without asking.
Dates, prices and details are kept as accurate as possible but may change. Where something is listed incorrectly, Giselle will contact you before taking payment or offer a refund.
Testimonials are published with the writer's consent and may be edited for length. Ask and yours will be removed.

Which country's law applies
The agreement is governed by Colorado law, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction and venue of Colorado, USA.

Changes, and getting in touch
These terms may be updated from time to time; the version on this page at the moment you book is the one that applies to that booking. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
If something has gone wrong, write to giseanne08@gmail.com before anything else. Most things are a misunderstanding and are quicker to fix directly.
